    In Australia, a registered religious celebrant is one who officiates at various types of ceremonies. Aside from weddings, celebrants also perform funerals, blessings, baby naming ceremonies and coming-of-age celebrations.

  • What is a Wedding Celebrant?

    A Wedding Celebrant is a professionally-trained person who is authorised by the government to perform weddings. Note that not all religious celebrants are permitted to perform wedding ceremonies. Special training, authorisation and insurance are required.

    James customises each ceremony to suit the client’s needs and desires. However, the typical ceremony lasts about 20-25 minutes, which is long enough to make magic happen while maintaining the crowd’s attention. James also offers elopement ceremonies which typically only take about 5 minutes.

    Funerals are important for various reasons outside of religion. They serve to remember those who have died, offer hope for those who live on, provide a support system for survivors and allow us to say our final goodbyes to loved ones who have moved on.
